APPOINTMENTS MADE BY THE PRESIDENT T h e Secretary presented for record a list of appointments m a d e b y the President of the University. Andrushes, Elizabeth B., Dispensary Nurse in the College of Medicine, beginning November 1, 1927, and continuing until September I, 1928, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month. (November 12, 1927)1 Apple, Carl, Assistant in Anatomy, in the College of Medicine, for four months beginning October 1, 1927, at a cash compensation at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25) a month. (November 9, 1927) Arquin, S. R , Assistant in Pathology, in the College of Medicine, beginning October 1, 1927, and continuing until September 1, 1928, without salary. (October 26, 1927) Baskett, Jessie B., Dispensary Clerk in the College of Medicine, beginning October 1, 1927, and continuing until September 1, 1928, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of eighty-three dollars thirty-three cents ($83.33) a month. (October 14, 1927) Baxter, R. K., Instructor in Operative Dentistry, in the College of Dentistry, on part time, for one year beginning September I, 1927, at a cash compensation of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1200). N., Resident in Neurology, in the College of Medicine, on one-half time, beginning November 1, 1927, and continuing until July I, 1928, at a cash compensation at the rate of twenty-five dollars ($25) a month. D., Lecturer in Medical Jurisprudence, in the College of Medicine, for one year beginning September 1, 1927, at a cash compensation of two hundred dollars ($200), and Lecturer in Dental Jurisprudence, in the College of Dentistry, for one hour each week for one semester beginning September 1, 1927, at a cash compensation of one hundred dollars ($100). (October 15, 1927) Browning, Laura O., Clerk and Stenographer in the Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, in the College of Engineering, beginning November 1, 1927, and continuing until August 31, 1928, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission, at a cash compensation at the rate of one hundred dollars ($100) a month.
