336 BOARD OF TRUSTEES [July 14 RESOLUTION W H E R E A S , the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois did on April 20, 1927 authorize and direct the Treasurer of the University of Illinois to sell the following securities: 3 shares Preferred Capital Stock non par value Central Illinois Public Service Company; 5 shares of par value #100 of preferred capital stock of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois; 20 shares par value $100 of preferred capital stock of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois; N O W , T H E R E F O R E , A. M . Burke, Treasurer of the University of Illinois and of this Board of Trustees is hereby authorized to endorse stock certificates for 3 shares Preferred Capital Stock non par value Central Illinois Public Service Company Certificate No. C O 3457 issued September 24, 1923; S shares of par value $100 of preferred capital stock of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois issued November 21, 1916, certificate No. 0951; 20 shares par value #100 of preferred capital stock of the Public Service Company of Northern Illinois certificate No. B 6192; for and on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois and full faith and credit shall be given to such endorsement so made by said A. M . Burke, Treasurer. O n motion of D r . Noble, this resolution w a s adopted. C. P. A. CERTIFICATES (4) I recommend that the following candidates who are certified by the Board of Examiners in Accountancy as having passed the May, 1927, examination be awarded C. P.
