FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT (15) A recommendation that a contract forfire-hosefor the Architecture building be awarded to the American La France Fire Engine Company for $591.90 (22.5 cents a foot). This recommendation is not based on the lowest bid, but on experience of the value of different makes of hose. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this contract was awarded as recommended.
