I recommend that $10,000 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the purpose of continuing the work on building studies. APPROPRIATION FOR MEDICAL LIBRARY (9) On the request of Dean Davis, I recommend that $4,000 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the purchase of books and journal f l s for ie the Library of the College of Medicine. APPROPRIATION FOR LAW LIBRARY (10) On the request of Dean Harno, I recommend that an appropriation of $2500 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the Law Library. O n motion of M r s . APPROPRIATION FOR LEGISLATIVE VISIT (11) I recommend that an appropriation of $1400, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for the expenses of the visit of the General Assembly on March 2 and 3, 1927. DISPENSARY FEES IN THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE (12) Dean Davis recommends that the i i i l payment fee in the Dispensary be nta raised from 15c to 25c per patient, and that the charge for a lost dispensary card be raised from 10c to 15c. I recommend the approval of these changes. O n motion of M r . Armstrong, these changes were approved.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO THE COLLEGE OF LAW

(13) The University Senate, at its meeting of February 14, adopted the following resolution changing the requirements for admission to the College of Law: "Resolved, that beginning with January 1, 1929, the following persons only will be admitted to the College of Law as candidates for degrees: I. Graduates of colleges and universities of approved standing. 2. Students in the University of Illinois of senior standing who are permitted to elect courses in law for the degree of Bachelor of Arts or for the degree of Bachelor of Science." I request that I be authorized to approve these changes and to put them into effect if, on further study, there appears no reason why they should not be made. Otherwise I will bring the matter back to the Board at a future meeting. O n motion of M r . Armstrong, this recommendation was concurred in.
