Any report it makes as to the administration of the present law might be made effective during the current year. Northwestern University has already designated Professor Bruce of the L a w School, and the University of Chicago has designated Professor Burgess of the Department of Sociology as their respective members of the Joint Committee. At present the University is not committed in any way to participation, newspaper paragraphs to the contrary notwithstanding. I recommend the approval of these arrangements. O n motion of D r . N o b l e , this plan of cooperation w a s approved.
