LEAVE O F ABSENCE FOR MISS MABEL A R N E S O N (17) At the request of Dean D. J. Davis, I recommend that Miss Mabel Arneson, Secretary in the office of Mr. Browne, be given sick leave with pay from September 27, 1926, to January I, 1927, to enable her to recover from an operation which she underwent on September 27. O n motion of M r . Armstrong, this leave was granted.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR MR. G. P. TUTTLE

(18) I recommend that Mr. G. P. Tuttle, Registrar, who underwent an operation for acute appendicitis on November 5, be given sick leave on full pay from November s to December 13, or so much thereof as may be necessary to enable him to recover from his illness. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this leave w a s granted.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR PROFESSOR A. R. CRATHORNE

(19) I recommend that Professor A. R. Crathorne be given sick leave with pay from October 28 to November 22. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this leave was granted.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR PROFESSOR C. G. HOWARD

(20) I have authorized Mr.C.G.Howard,Assistant Professor of Business Law,to be absent from October 22 to December 1 on account of the illness of his wife, without loss of pay, subject to such arrangements as Dean Thompson and Professor Scovill approve; provided that i i is necessary for the University to secure extra assistance f t to care for his work, the cost will be deducted from his salary. I request confirmation of m y action on the matter. O n motion of M r . Barr, this action w a s approved.
