ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR LIBRARY, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE (16) The Library Committee of the College of Medicine requests that an additional $8,000 be appropriated for completing the journalfilesand for purchasing new sets needed to round out the present collection. I recommend that $8,000 be appropriated for this purpose from the Reserve and Contingent fund. O n motion of Mrs. Blake, this appropriation was made, by the following vote: Aye, M r . PURCHASE OF McNEILL PROPERTY, LOT23 COLLEGE PLACE (18) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that Lot 23 in College Place be acquired from Mr. T. F. McNeill by exchange, the University to give Mr. McNeill a lot measuring 60 feet on First Street and 137% feet on Armory Avenue in the Athletic Association tract and a house from one of the lots in College Place. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, this exchange w a s approved and the proper officers of the Board were authorized to execute the necessary instruments.

PURCHASE OF WARNER PROPERTY, LOT 2 COLLEGE PLACE

(19) I concur in the recommendation of the Superintendent of Business Operations that the University purchase Lot 2 in College Place for $2,150 with all assessments except paving paid to January I, 1925, the University to assume taxes for 1924, all of the cost of the First Street paving, and seven installments of special assessments for lighting. 1 further recommend that the sum of $2,150 be assigned from the Reserve and Contingent fund for this purpose. O n motion of M r s . Evans, these recommendations were approved, b y the following vote: A y e , M r . Armstrong, M r s . Blake, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . PURCHASE OF LOT 22, IN COLLEGE PLACE

(20) The Superintendent of Business Operations recommends that the University purchase from Mrs. Harriet Moore her residence property at 1115 Williamson Street in College Place, Lot 22, for $8,925, the University to assume the 1924 taxes and the lighting assessment due January 1, which two items will not exceed $75. I concur in the recommendation, and further recommend that the sum of $9,000 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent fund to make the purchase and pay the taxes. O n motion of M r s . Blake, this recommendation w a s approved, by the following vote: A y e , M r . Armstrong, M r s . Blake, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . Trees, M r . INVESTMENT OF TRUST FUNDS O n motion of Mr. Trimble, the statement of policy concerning the investment of trust funds (See Minutes, October 25, 1924, page 103) was revised.
