Mr. Trimble was requested to prepare a revision of the statement of policy for printing in the minutes. At this point, Mrs. Blake and Mr. Trimble withdrew. COOK COUNTY TRUCK FARMING LAND The Executive Committee made a report of progress on the purchase of a tract in Cook County for experimental work in truck farming. ADDITIONAL HELP ON ACCOUNT OF RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL HOSPITALS (21) A recommendation that the sum of $606.52 be assigned from the Reserve and Contingent fund to the Supervising Architect to pay for the services of men employed as additional help for listing the equipment of the Research and Educational Hospitals. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this appropriation w a s m a d e b y the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . Trees; no, none; absent, M r . Blair, M r s . Blake, M r s . Ickes, M r . Small, M r . Trimble. APPROPRIATION FOR SENDING THE AGRICULTURALIST T O HIGH S C H O O L S (22) Dean Mumford asks an appropriation of $850 for the purpose of sending The Agriculturalist to approximately six hundred high schools. I recommend that this amount be appropriated for this purpose from the Reserve and Contingent fund. O n motion of M r . Armstrong, this appropriation was made, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . Trees; no, none; absent, M r . Blair, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Ickes, M r . Small, M r . Trimble. APPROPRIATION FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR WOMEN (23) Director Freer requests an additional appropriation to meet unexpectedly increased expenditure in her department. I recommend that $1,100 be appropriated from the Reserve and Contingent fund to the expense budget of Physical Education for Women in addition to the present assignment, the President to approve i s dist tribution. O n motion of M r s . Evans, this appropriation w a s made, by the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, M r s . Busey, M r s . Evans, M r s . Grigsby, M r . Noble, M r . APPROPRIATION FOR GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS (24) A recommendation that $25,000 be appropriated in the budget for 1925-26 for graduate scholarships and fellowships. O n motion of M r s .
