472 B O A R D OF T R U S T E E S [March 11 A schedule of the bids received and a description of the alternates have been filed with the secretary of the board for record. On motion of Ms. Reese, these contracts were awarded by the following vote: Aye, Dr. Bacon, Mr. Boyle, Dr. Gindorf, Mr. Grabowski, Mrs. Gravenhorst, Mr. Lamont, Ms. Lopez, Ms. Reese; absent, Mrs. Calder, Governor Edgar. (The student advisory vote was: Aye, Ms. Huff, Mr. Riley; no, none.) Contract, Emergency Generators, Residence Halls, Urbana (13) The president of the University, with the concurrence of the appropriate administrative officers, recommends the award of a contract for $461,800 to Remco Electrical Corporation, Champaign, the lowest responsible bidder on its base bid, for installation of emergency generators at Illinois Street, Daniels Graduate, Taft/Van Doren, Gregory Drive, and Peabody Avenue Residence Halls and the Student/StafF Apartments at the Urbana campus. The proposed $900,000 project consists of providing standby emergency generators complete with associated automatic transfer switches, distribution panels, and associated conduit and wiring. Funds are available from the Auxiliary Facilities System Repair and Replacement Reserve Fund. A schedule of the bids received has been filed with the secretary of the board for record. On motion of Ms. Reese, this recommendation was approved by the following vote: Aye, Dr. Bacon, Mr. Boyle, Dr. Gindorf, Mr. Grabowski, Mrs. Gravenhorst, Mr. Lamont, Ms. Lopez, Ms. Reese; absent, Mrs. Calder, Governor Edgar.
