D E A R PRESIDENT KINLEY:

But the opportunity to give up general administrative duties in order to devote myself to teaching and writing and keeping up with my subject seems to make the desicion a wise one. I thank you heartily for your kindness and sympathetic interest in our work, an wish you and the University all success in the coming years. Faithfully yours,

HENRY W. PALLANTINE
