Cutting to length from 4 to 5 feet 05 per cwt. 3. Cutting to length from 2 to 4 feet 10 per cwt. 4. Cutting to length from 1 to 2 feet. .20 per cwt. If item 1 applies then 2, 3, and 4 are waived. PRICE: SPIRALS Flat price of SIXTY-THREE ($63) DOLLARS per ton, completely shop fabricated, with the present tariff rate of freight allowed to Champaign, Illinois. For field drawings and bending details $1.25 per ton of 2000 pounds, figured on actual shipped weights of bars and spirals. Final shipment to be made May 31, 1923, at option of Corrugated Co. TERMS: All invoices to become due and payable thirty days from respective dates of shipment. Interest to be charged thereafter at 6% per annum. A discount of 5^ of 1% to be allowed for payments made within ten days from date of shipment. Failure to make prompt payment is cause for deferring further shipment until delinquency is paid. Approved by J. T. Hanley, and by W. H. Kennedy, Vice President for the Corrugated Bar Company, and by George Huff, President of the University of Illinois Athletic Association. Acceptance of Corrugated Bar Company under date of April 24, 1922, attached to such contract. The Committee approved and affirmed the action of the Committee of the Athletic Board of Control in entering into contract with Holabird & Roche of Chicago for architectural work in connection with the Stadium upon the following terms: Holabird & Roche are to furnish the usual architectural services necessary for the completion of the Stadium which shall include preparing reports and estimates for preliminary study of the project; working drawings and specifications to serve as a basis for taking bids and awarding contracts;" large scale details and full size drawings; and superintending the construction of the work to assure that the materials and workmanship fully comply with the provisions of the plans and specifications. Their services embrace architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, heating and sanitary portions of the structure. I t is understood that shop detail drawings shall be supplied by the contractor in accordance with the usual custom. Architects' fees for the above services will be 5% of the entire cost of the work (as determined from the contract price), including the survey, borings if required, fixed or detached furnishings designed or installed under their superintendence. Payments shall be made to the Architects as follows: $15,000 upon completion of the preliminary sketches; 2)4% of the estimated cost of the work shall be paid, less the sum of $15,000 above stated, when the working drawings and specifications have been prepared, provided, however, that if the preparation of the plans extend over a period of more than two months, payments on account shall be made from time to time, such payments to be approximately proportioned to the progress of the work on the plans. After the contracts are let, payment of the balance {i}4%) of the amount of certificates issued to the contractor or contractors shall be made at the respective times such certificates are issued, and the remainder of the 5% if there be any, shall be paid at the time of issuance of the final certificate, it being understood that the total of their fees shall be 5% of the total final cost of the work. The contract further provides that should the work be abandoned after the preliminary sketches are prepared, the Architects shall be reimbursed to the extent of the actual cost to them. The drawings and specifications are to remain the property of the Architects and to be returned to them upon the completion of the work, one complete set to be furnished to the Stadium Committee.
