5. The Illini Publishing Company to pay the University by the tenth of the following month for the following items, on account of the printing of the Daily Illini: (a) (b) (c) (d) Labor at cost plus 20% 'Stock at cost plus 5% Ink and similar supplies at cost. Repairs to equipment owned by the Illini Publishing Company at cost.

6. The University to pay the Daily Illini the following rates for such use as may be made of the following items of equipment: (a) Linotype—25 cents per hour for the first 100 hours. 20 cents per hour for all succeeding hours, provided that the maximum amount to be paid in any one month shall not exceed $40.00. Press—18 cents per hour.

On motion of Mr. Hoit, this recommendation was approved.

BONDS FOR MILITARY SUPPLIES

(5) A recommendation that general authority be granted the Comptroller to file bonds with the War Department for military supplies and equipment. On motion of Mr. Abbott, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: KE SOLVED, that Lloyd Morey, Comptroller of the University of Illinois, be authorized to file with the W a r Department bonds in the name of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois to the United States in such sums as may be stipulated by the W a r Department to cover the issuance of the clothing, rifles, and other equipment for the use of the various units of the R. O. T. O. of the University of Illinois in accordance with requisitions made by the President (or Acting President) of the University.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

(6) A recommendation from the University Senate that the Registrar be authorized to admit free of entrance conditions any student who comes t o the University from a recognized college of Class A with a
