On m o t i o n of Mr. B l a i r , t h i s r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s approved. GROUP REQUIREMENTS IN L. A. 3. (7) A recommendation from the University Senate that the requirements for the A. B. degree in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences be amended by modifying the "Note" relating to Groups IV and V as given on page 19 of the current "Announcement of Courses" to read as follows: Every candidate for the degree of A. B. shall offer a minimum total of 15 semester hours in Group IV and V combined (with a minimum of 5 semester hours in either one of theni), of which 15 hours at least 5 shall be in courses requiring not less than 4 laboratory hours per week. On motion approved. of Mr. Abbott, this recommendation was DEGREES GRANTED IN OCTOBER (8) A request for authority to confer degrees and to issue diplomas to the following list of candidates approved by the University Senate on October 6, 1919.
