2. Traveling expense bills presented by members of the faculties of the several colleges, members of the experiment station staffs, and employees of the administrative offices of the University, must be approved by the dean of the college, the director of the station, or the officer in charge of the administrative office, and endorsed by the Comptroller. 3. Traveling expense bills for deans, directors, and officers in charge of administrative departments must be approved by the President of the University and endorsed by the Comptroller. 4. Traveling expense bills of the President of the University and of the members of the Board of Trustees must be approved by the chairman of the Finance Committee and endorsed by the Comptroller. On m o t i o n of Mr. A b b o t t , this r e c o m m e n d a t i o n w a s a d o p t e d .

(3) A statement concerning the proposed affiliation of the Illinois Training School for Nurses.

On motion of Mr. Blair, the Acting President was requested to investigate and to report the terms on which such an affiliation may be affected.

CONTRACT W I T H ILLlNI PUBLISHING COMPANY

(4) A recommendation that the Legal Counsel be directed to draw up a contract with the Illini Publishing Company for the year beginning September 1, 1919, according to the following terms: 1. 2. TJie University to furnish space in the shop of the University Press for all equipment necessary to print the Daily Illini. The University to furnish power equipment, and light and heat. for the operation of such
