PUBLICATION OF HISTORY OF T H E UNIVERSITY FOR T H E PAST FOURTEEN YEARS, BY PRESIDENT E. J. JAMES (2) A statement that there was in the budget of last year an appropriation of $3,000 for a statistical history of the University. As I had no information about this at> the time the budget was ma4e up for the present year, the item was omitted from the current budget. I have since learned that this item was intended ,tb print a statistical study by the President. The manuscript is now ready, and I recommend that the sum of $3,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary, be appropriated for this history.

On motion of Mr. Abbott, this appropriation was made.

This regulation was adopted.
