MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF T H E UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS May 16, 1919 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the University, in Urbana, on Friday, May 16, 1919, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on May 3, 1919: On the call of the President, Mr. Robert F. Carr, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the University in Urbana, at 5 o'clock p . m. on Friday, May 16, 1919, to consider matters submitted by the President of the University and the Committees of the Board, and such other matters as may be duly submitted. The Board adjourned to meet at 9 o'clock a. m. on the following day. ADJOURNED SESSION, MAY 17, 1919 When the Board met in the Trustees' room at 9 o'clock a. m. on Saturday, May 17, 1919, the following members were present: President Carr, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Trimble. Vice-President Kinley was present. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented for approval and for record the minutes of the Board meeting of March 11, 1919, and of the Executive Committee meetings of March 15 and April 12, 1919. On motion of Mr. Abbott, the minutes were approved and received for record as printed on pages 223 to 322 inclusive. 323
