312 1 Attach BOARD OF TRUSTEES [April 12, Know All Men By These Presents: That the University of Illinois has received, and by these presents does acknowledge receipt of payment in full, from the United States of America, of any and all obligations, of any kind or character whatsoever, growing out of the providing, equipping, maintaining and operating of the School of Military Aeronautics at the University of Illinois, and the said University of Illinois does hereby release the United States of America from any and all claims of any kind or character whatsoever, by reason of the Contract heretofore entered into, bearing date August 27th, 1918, between the United States of America and the University of Illinois, for the purpose of providing, equipping, maintaining and operating said school. And the said University of Illinois does hereby bind itself to save harmless the United States of America from any and all claims of any kind or character whatsoever by the University of Illinois, or by any person, firm, or corporation, for material or labor furnished, or expenses or obligations incurred on account of, or incident to, the providing, equipping, maintaining and operating of a School of Military Aeronautics at the University of Illinois. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the University of Illinois does execute and deliver this document this day of March, 1919.
