BOARD OF TRUSTEES

[March 15,

that this bond be made in the name of the institution rather than in the name of an individual as in the past. I enclose a resolution necessary for the Board of Trustees to adopt before this bond can be executed. Cordially yours,

LLOYD M O R E Y

The following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED, that Lloyd Morey, Comptroller of the University of Illinois, be authorized to execute a bond to the United States of America in the sum of Three Hundred Thirty Dollars (J330), with the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company as surety, to cover the withdrawal of distilled spirits for use in the various departments of the University of Illinois, located at Chicago, Illinois, for other than beverage purposes.

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONCERTS (21) A request from Director J. Lawrence Erb for the re-establishment of the Symphony Concert Course during the next academic year.

The President of the University was given authority to reestablish this course along the lines previously authorized, of eight concerts by four orchestras, the price of admission to be fixed at the point at which in his judgment the largest income can be realized, the deficit to be charged to the budget of next year. This recommendation was approved.
