MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

OF THE

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

November 2 3 , 1918

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Blacks tone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, November 23, 1918, pursuant to the following notice which was sent out by the Secretary on November 15, 1918:

On the call of the President, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, November 23, 1918, to consider matters submitted by the President of the University and the Committees of the Board, and such other matters as may be duly submitted.

When the Board convened, the following members were present: Mr. Abbott, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Taggart, Mr. Trimble, Mr. Ward, Miss Watson. President James was present.

MINUTES APPROVED

The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of July 17, 1918, September 3, 1918, September 10, 1918, and October 1, 1918. On motion of Mr. Hoit, the minutes were approved as printed above on pages 1 to 149, inclusive.
