(10) The contract between the University and the Young Men's Christian Association. Under the authority given me by the Board of Trustees, I have made a contract with the University Y. M; C. A. in regard to the use of the Y. M, C. A. Building as Barracks for the aviators, which is hereby submitted : CONTRACT This Agreement made the eighteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, between the Board of Directors of the Young Men's Christian Association of Champaign, Illinois, part}?- of the first part, and the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, party of the second part, witnesseth: The said party of the first part agrees to lease to the party of the second part for a period of one year, all of the rooms above the basement in the Y. M. C. A. Building, situated on the corner of John and Wright Streets in Champaign, Illinois, said quarters to be used as a barracks for the cadets of the School of Aeronautics. The party of the first part agrees to maintain insurance on the building and to pay all taxes and assessments which may be legally levied against the property and to pay to the party of the second part the sum of One Hundred Thirty ($130.00) dollars monthly for janitor services, including supplies, in the portion of the building leased to said party of the second part. The party of the; second part in consideration of the permission to occupy the building under the said terms agrees to furnish heat, light and water for the entire building and to put the building in good repair and so maintain it, exclusive of general painting of the exterior and the interior of the building during the period of the lease. Also to place at the disposal of the party of the first part, including heat, light and water, the feuilding known as the President's House on the campus of the University
