ADDITION TO MEDICAL LABORATORY

(25) An estimate from the Supervising Architect for the construction of an addition to the laboratory annex of the Medical building in Chicago, at the east end of the present laboratory annex and extending from the alley on the south of the building along the Lincoln Street front to the walk which extends up to the west entrance to the main building. This will give us three laboratories, not counting the basement, 30 ft. x 70 ft., at a cost of about forty thousand dollars. It will be necessary to add considerably to our facilities for taking care of students in the laboratory work, with the undoubted growth which the attendance at the College of Medicine will have following the completion of our clinical building. No action was taken in this matter.
