On motion of Mrs. Henrotin, the supervising architect was authorized to contract for the finishing of the north and south sides of the Armory, with stucco applied with the cement gun, at a cost of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2500). The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss "Watson; noes, none; not voting, Mrs. Evans; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR T H E ARMORY.

(7) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the sum of five thousand dollars be appropriated for the installation of the lighting system in the? new Armory.

On motion of Mrs. Evans, the sum of five thousand dollars ($5*000) was appropriated for the installation of the lighting system in the Armory. The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin,.Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

D O U B L E GLAZING* W I N D O W S I N ENDS OF ARMORY.

(8) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the sum of seven hundred dollars be appropriated for double glazing the windows in the ends of the Armory.

On motion of Mr. Hoit, the sum of seven hundred dollars ($700) was appropriated for double glazing the windows in the ends of the Armory, by the following vote: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

PROPOSED DESIGN FOR E D U C A T I O N BUILDING.

(9) A communication from Mr. James B. Dibelka, State Architect, with a sketch of the design for the building for the School of Education.

After inspection of the plans and discussion of the points involved in the construction of a building of the design submitted, the board voted, on motion of Mrs. Henrotin, to instruct the supervising architect to inform the State Architect that the design submitted was not satisfactory.

EXTENSION OF T U N N E L S FOR H E A T A N D LIGHT.

(10) A recommendation from Professor "White that the sum of seventeen thousand six hundred dollars be appropriated for the extension of the tunnels for heat and light to the new buildings on the campus which will be ready for use next fall.

On motion of Mr. Moore, the sum of seventeen thousand six hundred dollars ($17,600) was appropriated for the extension of the tunnels for heat and light to the new buildings on the campus which will be ready for use next fall. The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

REPAIRS ON OLD ARMORY.

(11) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that as soon as the Military Department is transfer-red to the new Armory the old Armory be turned over to the Department of Physical Training.

On motion of Dr. Montgomery, the recommendation of the supervising architect was approved and the sum of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) was appropriated for repairs and improvements necessary to fit the building for the use of the Department of Physical Training. The vote was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit,, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.
