President James resumed the presentation of matters for the consideration of the board as follows:

HEATING APPARATUS FOR ARMORY.

(4) A schedule of bids for the heating- apparatus for the new Armory, with a .recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the contract be awarded to the low bidders, the Carson-Payson Company, and that the contract for temperature control be awarded separately to the Powers Regulator Company. On motion of Mr. Hoit, the contract for furnishing and installing the heating apparatus in the new Armory was awarded to the Carson-Payson Company, for the sum of sixteen thousand two hundred dollars ($16,200), by the following vote: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR ARMORY.

On motion of Mr. Moore, the contract for furnishing and installing the apparatus for temperature control in the new Armory was awarded to the Powers Regulator Company, for the sum of nine hundred seventy dollars ($970), by the following vote: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, none; absent, Mr. Blair, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker. At this point Mrs. Busey withdrew.

C O N C R E T E FLOOR A N D STUCCO ENDS FOR ARMORY.

(5) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the items of six thousand dollars for a concrete floor in the new Armory, and of one thousand five hundred thirty-two dollars for the application of stucco with a cement gun to the ends of the Armory, which were incorporated in the original bid of N. H. Shields for the construction of the ends of the Armory but which were not accepted by the board when 'the contract was awarded, be now accepted. [See page 699.]

On motion of Mr. Holt, the supervising architect was authorized to award a contract to Mr. N'. H. Shields for a concrete floor in the Armory for six thousand dollars ($6,000) and for the use of the cement gun in applying stucco to the ends of the Armory for one thousand five hundred thirty-two dollars ($1,532). The .vote (taken separately on each item) was as follows: Ayes, Mr. Abbott, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Henrotin, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Montgomery, Mr. Moore, Mr. Trevett, Miss Watson; noes, non'e; absent, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Busey, Mr. Dunne, Mr. Meeker.

STUCCO F I N I S H FOR N O R T H A N D S O U T H SIDES OF ARMORY.

(6) A recommendation from the Supervising Architect that the north and south sides of the Armdry be finished1 with stucco applied with the cement gun at a cost of twenty-five hundred dollars. -
