Meeting of April 27, 1911.

A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held on Thursday, April 27, 1911, at 10:30 a. m., in the Hotel Sherman, in the city of Chicago, pursuant to the following notice sent out by the secretary on April 20, 1 9 1 1 : Upon the call of the president, Mr. W. L. Abbott, there will be a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at the Hotel Sherman in Chicago at 10:00 a. m. on Thursday, April 27, 1911, to consider such matters as the committees of the board and the president of the University may submit, and such other business as may be duly presented. The following members were present: President Abbott, Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans, Mr. Grout, Mr. Hatch, Mr. Hoit, Mr. Moore. Mr. H . \E. Cunningham was appointed secretary pro tern. The minutes of the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees, held in Chicago on March 20, were presented and approved.

The secretary presented the following list of persons recommended by the faculty of the School of Pharmacy for the degree of Graduate in Pharmacy, and on motion of Mr. Hatch aiithority was given to confer the degrees at the commencement to be held in the afternoon: Adolph Emil Anderson, Moline, 111.
