1910] PROCEEDINGS OP THE BOAKD OF TRUSTEES. BOOK SHELVES IN LAW LIBRARY. 603 12. Recommendation from the supervising architect that the wooden bookshelves in the Law School Reading room be replaced by iron shelving. Voted that said recommendation be approved. KESIGSTATION OF THE SECRETARY. Mr. Pillsbury offered his resignation of the office of the secretary of the Board of Trustees, held by him since July 1, 1888, resignation to take" effect, Oct. 1, 1910. Voted that said resignation be accepted, with an expression of appreciation on the part of the board for the faithful service rendered by Secretary Pillsbury during his term of office as secretary of the board. It was also voted that the president of the board, with two other members of the board appointed by him, recommend at the next meeting someone for secretary. The committee adjourned. W. L.
