When the board met pursuant to adjournment, there was no quorum, and the board adjourned to meet at the Blackstone hotel, in Chicago, at 12:00 o'clock m., Wednesday, June 29, 1910.

Meetings of the Executive Committee.

CHICAGO, June 1, 1910. To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois: A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the LaSalle hotel in the city of Chicago on Wednesday, June 1, 1910, at 6 p. m. Present, all the members of the committee; also other members of the board, Dr. Davison, Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. Evans. N E W CONTRACT W I T H THE COLLEGE OE PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS.

At the meeting of this committee, Mr. W. L. Abbott, president of the board, presented a report from the Committee of the Whole of the Board of Trustees, concerning a new contract between the "University of Illinois and the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The report was adopted as a basis for negotiation. Mr. Grout moved that the matter of a new contract between the University and the College of Physicians be referred to a committee consisting of President W. L. Abbott, Dr. Charles Davison and Mr. Fred L. Hatch, with authority to negotiate a contract for a new lease to replace the present one, and to be submitted to the Board of Trustees for its approval. The motion was carried.

MATTERS PRESENTED BY PRESIDENT JAMES.

The president of the University presented the following matters for consideration; PRICES OF PUBLICATIONS. 1. A communication from the Council of Administration recommending that authority he given to affix a price to the publications issued by the University. ^ Yoted that said authority be given to the persons entrusted with the supervision, of said publications.
