1910] PROCEEDINGS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES. 543 Meeting of June 13, 1910. The quarterly meeting of the Board of Trustees of- the University of Illinois was called to meet at the University at 10:00 o'clock a. m., M o n d a y / J u n e 13, 1910. When the board met pursuant to the call, the members present were, Messrs. Abbott, Crebs, Grout, Hatch and Moore, and Mrs. Busey, Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Bahrenburg. The secretary asked that the Board of Trustees authorize giving Mr. . Eoy N. Fargo a commission as brevet captain in Illinois National Guards issued to him in 1908 by Governor Deneen. The commission was not given to Mr. Fargo in 1908, since he did not graduate t h a t year. H e did, however, graduate last year, and asks that the commission be given him now. Authority was given as requested on motion of Mrs. Evans. INVITATION OF THE, ALUMNI ASSOCIATION. . THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS, UEBANA, June 13, 1910. To the Board of Trustees, University of Illinois: The Executive Committee respectfully requests, your presence at the annual meeting of the Alumni Association to be held Tuesday morning at the Y. M. C. A. building and to the annual alumni dinner to be held at the Woman's building at 12:30 oh the same day. Tickets for the dinner may be had early Tuesday morning from Mr. Pillsbury, with the compliments of the association. Very truly yours, R. W. RUTT, Secretary. On motion of Mr. Hatch, the invitation was accepted. The board adjourned to meet at 3 :00 o'clock in the afternoon. Session of Monday Afternoon, June 13, 1910. .When the board met in the afternoon the same members, were present as in the morning, except Mr. Crebs. Dr. Davison was present. The board adjourned to 3 :00 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon.
