Blair, Davison and Meeker, and Mrs. Alexander-Bahrenburg. COLLEGE OF MEDICINE. The comptroller requested"that $25,000 of the receipts of the College of Medicine be assigned to defray the expenses of the college, and on motion of Mr. Hatch-and by the following vote the assignment was made: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Crebs, Grout, Hatch and Moore, and Mrs. Busey and Mrs. Evans; nays, none; .absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Blair, Davison and Meeker, and Mrs. Alexander-Bahrenburg. ABRAHAM LINCOLN HALL. At the request of the, comptroller $10,000 of the appropriation for the erection of Abraham Lincoln Hall was assigned for that purpose on motion of Mr. Grout and by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs, xAbbott, Blair, Crebs, Grout, Hatch and Moore, and Mrs. Busey and Mrs. Evans; nays, none; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Blair, Davison, Meeker and Mrs. Alexander-Bahrenburg. SETTLEMENT W I T H V. JOBST & SONS. The Committee on Buildings and Grounds was authorized to accept the addition to the Natural History building and the Physics building from Y. Jobst & Sons, when satisfied that the jobs were completed in accordance with contracts therefor. It was also voted that $28,000 of the 15 per cent on these contracts might now be paid to the contractors. The board adjourned. W. L. ABBOTT, W. L. PILLSBURY, President. Secretary.. Meeting of the Executive Committee. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held the afternoon of Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1909, at the Grand Pacific hotel in Chicago. The members of the committee present were Messrs. Abbott and Grout; absent, Mrs. AlexanderBahrenburg. Other members of the board present were Messrs. Crebs, Hatch and Mrs. Evans. Mrs. Busey and Mr. Moore were present a part of the session. President James was present. —32 U
