last session for the equipment and support of the Law School, and that, the additional amount necessary to provide for the salary list of the Law School and the other items appropriated by the trustees for the support of the Law School, be charged to the general funds of the University. The recommendation was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Blair, Crebs, Davison, Hatch, Moore, Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. E v a n s ; nays, none; absent, Governor Deneen^ Messrs. Grout and Meeker and Mrs. Busey. Third—That the total amount of salaries paid to members of the staff of the College of Agriculture and the Agricultural Experiment Station be charged to the special appropriations made to these departments by the State and federal government. The recommendation was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Blair, Crebs, Davison, Hatch, Moore, Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. E v a n s ; nays, none; absent^ Governor Deneen, Messrs. Grout and Meeker and Mrs. Busey. Fourth—That of the total amount of salaries paid to the staff of the Music School be charged against the special appropriation of three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) made by the Legislature at its last session for the maintenance of the School of Music, and that the additional amount necessary to meet the salaries of the staff of the Music School and the other appropriations made by the Board of Trustees for! the support of this School, be charged against the general funds of the University. The recommendation was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Blair, Crebs, Davison, Hatch, Moore and Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. E v a n s ; nays, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Grout and Meeker and Mrs. Busey. Fifth—That of the total amount of salaries paid to the staff of the Engineering College, amounting to one hundred and forty thousand dollars. ($140,000.00) more or less, twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), being about one-seventh (1/7) of the total, be charged against the special appropriation of eighty thousand dollars ($80,000.00) made by the Legislature at its last session for the maintenance and extension of the Engineering College and expenses of the Engineering Experiment Station. Also that the sum of. five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) be appropriated for the support of the Engineering Experiment Station fellowships and be charged to the special appropriation just mentioned. Further, that the sum of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00) be appropriated for the support of the Engineering Experiment Station and that the same be charged to the same special legislative appropriations. Further, that the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) be appropriated for the expenses, maintenance, and extension of the nine departments of the College of Engineering, and that the same be charged against the special appropriation mentioned above. Further, that the balance of the expense of the Engineering College and Engineering Experiment Station, which may be ordered by the Board of Trustees, shall be charged to the general funds of the University. The recommendation was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Blair, Crebs, Davison^ Hatch, Moore; nays, Mrs. Bahrenburg and Mrs. E v a n s ; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Grout and Meeker and Mrs. Busey.
