D., dean of the Graduate School, director of the Courses in Commerce, professor of Economics. Eugene Davenport, M. Agr., dean of the College of Agriculture, professor of Thremmatology. Oliver Albert Harker, A. M., dean of the College of Law, professor of Law. William Edward Quine, M. D., dean of the College of Medicine, professor of the Practice of Medicine and Clinical Medicine. Thomas Arkle Clark, B. L., dean of Undergraduates, professor of Rhetoric. William Freeman Myrick Goss, D. Eng., dean of the College of Engineering, director of the School of Railway Engineering and Administration, director of the Engineering Experiment Station, professor of Railway Engineering. Edgar Jerome Townsend, Ph. D., dean of the College of Science, professor of • Mathematics. Evarts Boutell Greene, Ph. D., dean of the College of Literature and Arts, professor of History. E. Lessing, re-appointed associate professor for a term of'one year, from Sept. 1, 1909, at a salary of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per annum. Dr. Phillip B. Hawk, re-appointed professor of Physiological Chemistry for the term of one year, from Sept. 1, 1909, at a salary of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per annum. Dr. J. H. McClellan, re-appointed assistant professor of Physiology for the term of one year from Sept. 1, 1909, at a salary of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) per annum. S. S. Roberts, re-appointed assistant professor of Railway Engineering for the term of one year from Sept. 1, 1909, at a salary of two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) per annum. 3. An assistant professorship in Zoology created with a salary of twentyfive hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per annum, to take the place of the associateship held by Dr. Peters, and the president be authorized to fill the position for the coming year. 4. The following promotions: Leonard Hegnauer to be associate in crop production in the College of Agriculture and assistant in crops in the Agricultural Experiment Station, at a salary of eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800.00) per annum.
