The committee recommends that these be ordered paid.

Committee. On motion of Mr. Meeker, and by the following vote, the proposed location of the new University hall was approved: Yeas, Messrs. Crebs, Abbott, Davison, Hatch, Grout, Meeker, Moore and Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Busey; nays, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Mr. Blair and Mrs. Bahrenburg. On motion of Mr. Hatch the proposed location for the boiler house was approved by the following vote: Yeas, Messrs. Crebs, Abbott, Davison, Hatch, Grout, Meeker, Moore and Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Busey; nays, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Mr. Blair and Mrs. Bahrenburg. On motion of Mrs. Busey,the item with regard to a sidewalk on the north end of the athletic field was referred back to the Committee on Buildings and Grounds for further consideration. On motion of Mr. Hatch, and by t h e following vote, the bills of the State Architect, Mr. W. C. Zimmerman, were ordered p a i d : Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Davison, Hatch, Grout, Meeker, Moore and Mrs.. Evans and Mrs. Busey; nays, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Blair and Crebs and Mrs. Bahrenburg. The report of t h e committee was then adopted as a whole, subject to the change indicated above.

FIRE INSPECTION.

On motion of Mr. Abbott, and by the following vote, $50.00 was appropriated for an inspection of t h e University as a fire risk: Yeas, Messrs. Abbott, Davison, Hatch, Grout, Meeker, Moore and Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Busey; nays,, n o n e ; absent, Governor Deneen, Messrs. Blair a n i Crebs and Mrs. Bahrenburg. FIRE TRUCK. To the Board of Trustees: Your Committee on Buildings and Grounds at a meeting held today voted to recommend that the Supervising Architect he directed to provide a charging panel for the fire truck, and a cement drive for the truck from the pump house. Also that the chairman of the committee be directed to advertise for bids for a supply of coal for the University for the ensuing year.
