UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS.

CONTRACTS AND BONDS FOR AGRICULTURAL BUILDING.

[Sept. 12,

URBANA, ILLINOIS, Sept. 12, 1899.

1 o the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. Your special committee appointed for the purpose desires to report that b y your order it has signed on behalf of the University of Illinois contracts as follows: For the construction of the Agricultural building, with Valentine Jobst & Sons, general contractors, amount, $117,193.00. The firm has given an acceptable surety company bond for one-quarter of that amount. For plumbing and drainage on said building, with Baumgarten Bros, for the sum of $11,366.00. The firm has given an acceptable surety company bond for one-quarter of that amount. For steam heating apparatus, with Thomas & Smith for $14,786.00. The firm has given an acceptable surety company bond for one-quarter of that arnjouut. T h e bonds and contracts have been placed in the hands of the Secretary of the Board for preservation.
