The Committee also recommends that no attempt be made to breed other horses than Morgans, but that specimens of other breeds be obtained from time to time as in the case of cattle. The inventories of other property as presented June 30, and now in the hands of the Business Manager, were corrected and approved, and are presented herewith. This property consists of office furniture, machinery, microscopes, cameras, and a variety of apparatus.

PAVING BURRILL AVENUE. URBANA, ILLINOIS, Sept. 12,1899.

lo the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. Your Committee on Buildings and Grounds reports that bids for paving Burrill avenue from Green street to Springfield avenue were called for and that a contract has been let with John W. Stipes at the following prices: Excavating, 23 cents per cubic yard. Concrete and brick work, $1.24 per square yard. Concrete curb and gutter, 48 cents per running foot. Your committee has decided to pave Springfield avenue in front of Military Hall the length of the building.
