The Board of Direction asks authority to undertake the following experiments : 1. Establishing varieties of red clover by selection. 2. Improvement of Indian corn by selection and careful breeding. 3. Companion and catch crops for Indian corn. 4. Methods of Pasteurizing cream and milk. The Board of Trustees is asked to assign funds of the Experiment Station according to estimates made in Paper D, and also to authorize the President and Secretary of the Board of Direction to expend, as the best interests of the Station may require, any unexpended balances of the United States fund. The Board of Direction will continue for the rest of the year until March 31, 1896, its present staff at salaries now paid. Respectfully submitted,

T h e r e c o m m e n d a t i o n s with r e g a r d to corps of i n s t r u c t i o n a n d t h e r e o r g a n i z a t i o n of t h e shops, so far as it concerns t h e work of i n s t r u c tion, were referred to t h e C o m m i t t e e on I n s t r u c t i o n .
