To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. GENTLEMEN: At a meeting* of this Board held in November last, the matter of an appropriation asked for by Professor Shea was referred to your Committee on Finance. The Committee respectfully reports that the request has been investigated, and recommends that the sum of $1,000.00 be appropriated from the United States fund for the department of physics and electrical engineering. To the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois. GENTLEMEN: Your Finance Committee reports that it has examined the vouchers on which University warrants Nos. 176 to 1,650, inclusive, have been issued, and finds the same correct and properly receipted. The Committee has also examined the vouchers on which Experiment Station warrants, Nos. 1 to 80, inclusive, were issued, and has found the same correct and properly receipted. The Committee recommends the payment of $10.66 to Dr. W. E. Quine on account of expenses incurred by him in attending this meeting of the Board upon invitation of the committee on medical college.
