Clark, foreman in the machine shop, be reappointed for ten months from the first of September, 1896, at $85 per month; that A. R. Curtiss, foreman in the wood shop, be reappointed for ten months from September 1, 1896, at $85 per month; that Henry Jones be reappointed foreman in the smith shop for ten months from September 1, 1896, at $60 per month; and that J. H. Wilson, foreman in the moulding shop, be reappointed for ten months from September 1, 1896, at a salary of $50 per month. 15. That the teachers in the Preparatory School be reappointed upon the same terms as last year. * 16. That William L. Steele be appointed to a special scholarship in music for the ensuing* year, and that he be paid the sum of $300. 17. That Geo. F. Anderson be appointed special instructor in Military Science for ten months from September 1, 1896, at $10 per month. 18. That Lewis A. Rhoades be appointed Assistant Professor of German at a salary of $1,500, and that he have charge of the German department. 19. That Geo. W. Myers, Associate Professor of Mathematics, who has been absent in Europe the last two years on leave, be given the title of Associate Professor of Astronomy and Mathematics and that his salary be $1,750.
