A letter from Mr. F. E. Bonham, a student of the University, was, on motion of Mr. Inglis, referred to the President of the University. I t was now 11 o'clock and the Board adjourned until 2 o'clock in order that the rest of the forenoon might be spent in the architects' rooms in examining the plans for the library building.

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON SESSION.

Upon convening in the afternoon, the Board, by the following vote, authorized the carrying out of the idea of the architects in using stone of two colors in the exterior walls of the building: Yeas— Flower, Bullard, Smith, Graham, Armstrong, Raymond; nays—Inglis, McLean, Morgan, Morrison. Mr. McLean offered the following resolution: Besolved, That the new library building be erected on the northwest corner of the present quadrangle, and in front of the President's House, where stakes are now set, in lieu of the site heretofore selected south of the greenhouse.
