The B o a r d voted, on motion of Mr. McLean, t o go into committee of the whole, with the President in the chair, t o consider the petition from students. About 4 o'clock p. m., t h e committee arose, reported progress, and asked leave t o sit again. The Regent obtained leave t o present certain questions in relation t o the subject of the s t u d e n t s ' petition. During the sitting of t h e committee of the whole, Mr. Nelson W. G r a h a m came in, and h a v i n g presented his credentials a n d t a k e n the o a t h of office, t o o k his seat as a member of the Board. Mr. R a a b returned home a t noon. The recommendations of the Regent's report were then t a k e n up.
