The farm r e p o r t was referred t o the F a r m Committee on? m o t i o n of Mr. Bennett. The r e p o r t of the Director of the S t a t e L a b o r a t o r y of N a t u r a l H i s t o r y was approved, and it was ordered t h a t it be inserted in t h e biennial report of t h e Trustees, now printing. The vouchers presented by t h e B o a r d of Direction were referred t o the Committee on Finance. On motion of Mr. Bullard, it was voted t h a t a p p r o p r i a t i o n s of S t a t i o n funds for the use of the Station, be made as asked in t h e r e p o r t of the B o a r d of Direction. I t was also voted t h a t a u t h o r i t y be g r a n t e d t o u n d e r t a k e experiments, as asked in t h e same report. The appointment of Professor S. A. Forbes, as consulting Entomologist of the Station, without salary, was confirmed on motion of Mr. Bennett. The Board t h e n adjourned t o meet a t the Doane House, in Champaign, a t 7 o'clock p. m.

EVENING SESSION.

The B o a r d met in the evening p u r s u a n t t o adjournment, t h e same members being present as in the afternoon. The Treasurer, Mr. J. W. Bunn, reported the p a y m e n t of $ 8 3 . 1 7 on purchase a t t a x sales of lands in Nebraska, sold by t h e University, b u t n o t yet fully paid for. On m o t i o n of Mr. Cobb, it was voted t h a t a w a r r a n t for t h e a m o u n t be drawn in favor of the Treasurer. The Treasurer then presented the following report, which wa& referred t o the Finance Committee:
