The Board of Direction asks authority to undertake t h e following experiments: 1. To make a chemical analysis of two feeds, germ meal and oat dust feed. 2. Apple trees, testing t h e effects of pruning. 3. Plants, testing the effects of self and cross fertilization. 4. Soil and fertilizers, tests of, with potted plants. 5. Wheat, tests of varieties. The Board has appointed Professor S. A. Forbes to be consulting entomologist of t h e Station, without salary, and asks that the Board of Trustees confirm the appointment. The Board of Trustees is also requested to give the President of t h e Board of Direction authority to appoint a second assistant in t h e chemical laboratory of the Station* when'a suitable person for the place has been found, salary not to exceed $60 per month.
