The Executive Committee made the following report, which was, on motion of Mr. McKay, confirmed. R E P O R T O F EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE. To the Board of Trustees, University of Illinois. GENTLEMEN: A t a meeting of t h e Executive Committee of t h e Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois held Dec. 21, 1889, it was Besolved, That t h e sum of one hundred and fifty dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated for the purpose of building a new engine, as requested by Professor Arthur T. Woods, the same to be charged to current funds. Besolved, T h a t t h e second paragraph of the section of "Rules for t h e Government of Students," entitled "Military Department," which now reads: "Those who present certificates of disability signed by a physician who shall be duly appointed medical inspector for t h e battalion," be amended to read as follows: "Those who present satisfactory evidence of physical disability."
