WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION The Young Women's Christian Association of the University of Illinois has to occupy a very important place Ln the affairs of th women student:;. It is the only distinctly intordenorninationa 1 religious organization among the women Of the student body and its influence Is wholesome, agand democratic. H^H^^^^^^^H The A ociation stands for: Growth along spiritual lines. Training for Christian service. F u r t h e r i n g a cordial spirit of friendliness. Serving the needs of the girls in practical ways. Ext< sion of the Association activities ^ | H and privileges. H ^ ^ H ^ ^ H ^ H I ^ H Supervision The work of the Association is in charge Of tie Secretaries, the Cabinets and the Adory Board. Secretaries Miss Elizabeth B. Curry Is the General Secretary of the Association and Mr. Lloyd C. Douglas the Religious Work Director. Cabinets The officers and chairmen of the various committees compose the first < binet. The hi net meets each week for prayer and for discussion of the vital problems of the Association. A "Know Your City" department has been added this year. The first cabinet is as follows: Labor to keep alive in your br t that little spark of celestial fire—co icle t.
