MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS May 18, 1951 The May meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held in the Faculty-Alumni Lounge of the Illini Union Building, Urbana, Illinois, on Friday, May 18, 1951, beginning at 8:00 p.m. (C.D.S.T.). The following members were present: President Livingston, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Grange, Mr. Herrick, Mrs. Holt, Mr. Johnston, Mr. Megran, Mr. Nickell, Mrs. Watkins. Also present were President George D. Stoddard, Provost C. R. Griffith, Dean E. R. Series of the College of Pharmacy, representing Vice-President A. C. Ivy, Mr. J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information, Professor Edward W. Geary, Chairman of the Committee to Submit Nominations for the Deanship of the College of Commerce and Business Administration and to Assist in Planning the Reorganization of the College, Deans Henning Larsen and Willard B. Spalding of the University Council Executive Committee, Mr. Lloyd Morey, Comptroller, Mr. C. W. Weldon, Treasurer, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Secretary of the Board. 687
