MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS September 2 9 , 1 9 5 0 The September meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois was held at the Country Club of Peoria, in Peoria, Illinois, on Friday, September 29, 1950, beginning at 11 o'clock a.m., Central Standard Time, according to the following schedule: 11:00 a.m. — Executive session, Committee of the Whole. 1:30 p.m. — Open session. The following members were present: President Williamson, Mr. Fornof, Mr. Herrick, Mr. Hickman, Mrs. Holt, Mr. Livingston, Mr. McLaughlin, Dr. Meyer, Mrs. Watkins. President Stoddard was present; also Provost C. R. Griffith, VicePresident A. C. Ivy, Comptroller Lloyd Morey, Mr. H. O. Farber, Assistant Comptroller, J. F. Wright, Director of Public Information, Mr. J. E. Ewers, Security Officer, and Mr. A. J. Janata, Secretary of the Board. 335
