At the urgent request of the Chairman of the Council, I have authorized the extension of Professor Scheick's leave of absence without pay for one year, beginning September 1, 1950, and request confirmation of this action.

On motion of Mr. Livingston, the extension of this leave of absence was approved.

She has requested, partly for the convenience of the University and partly because of changes in her personal plans, that her leave be deferred. I recommend that it be canceled without prejudice as to a future leave.

On motion of Mr. Livingston, this leave was cancelled without prejudice as to a future leave.
