MEETING OF T H E B O A R D OF TRUSTEES OF THE U N I V E R S I T Y O F ILLINOIS January 28, 1 9 3 2 With Adjourned Sessions of February 6 and 10, 1932 A special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois w a s held at io o'clock a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 1932, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, in pursuance of the following notice which w a s sent out by the Secretary on January 22, 1932: On the call of the President, Mr. George A. Barr, a special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois will be held at 10 o'clock a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 1932, at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, to consider thefinancialsituation of the University, and to transact such other business as may be presented by the committees of the Board and the President of the University. T h e following members were present: President Barr, M r . Armstrong, M r . Barreft, M r s . Grigsby, M r s . Hopkins, Dr. Noble, M r . Trees, M r . Williams. President Chase w a s present, also M r . M o r e y and Judge Johnson; M r . Capron and M r . Walter Riley were present during part of the session. 5"
