MEETING O F T H E B O A R D O F T R U S T E E S OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS M a y 14, 1931 The May meeting of the Board of Trustees of the University of I l li nois was held at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 10 o'clock a.m. (Chicago time) on Thursday, May 14, 1931. The following members were present: President Barr, Mr. Armstrong, Mr. Barrett, Mr. Blair, Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Grigsby, Mrs. Hopkins, Dr. Noble, Mr. Trees, Mr. Williams. President Chase was present; also, during part of the day, Professor J. M . White, Supervising Architect. MINUTES APPROVED The Secretary presented the minutes of the meetings of April 8 and April 27, 1931. On motion of Dr. Noble, the minutes were approved as printed on pages 201 to 216 above. 217
