COTTAGE FOR THE SHEEP HERDSMAN (3) A recommendation by Professor White that the Allen house in College Place be moved to a location just east of the school house on South First Street, and used for the sheep herdsman. He requests that the #3000 balance of the appropriation of $6000 (See Minutes of February 14, 1924, and October 18, 1924) originally provided for an Agronomy cottage be made available for moving, foundation, and other work essential to make the house habitable in its new location. I recommend that this transfer be made. O n motion of M r s . Grigsby, these recommendations were adopted. PAVING A S S E S S M E N T S (4) A recommendation by the Supervising Architect that #5747 be appropriated to meet installments due on paving and lighting assessments as of January 1, 1925. I recommend this appropriation from the Reserve and Contingent Fund. O n motion of M r . Armstrong, this appropriation w a s m a d e , by the following vote: Aye, M r . Armstrong, M r s . SOUTHERN PACIFIC STOCK (5) A statement concerning a recommendation of the Finance Committee that certain Southern Pacific stock be sold (See Minutes, October 25, 1924, page 104). O n motion of M r . Trees, the Finance Committee was requested to inform the Board as to the securities in which the proceeds from the sale of this stock would be invested. ADDITIONAL PLUMBING IN McKINLEY HOSPITAL (6) Further consideration of the use of the new McKinley University Hospital has led the committee in charge to advise that we make provision to care for cases of mildly contagious diseases. This will necessitate additional plumbing so as to provide toilet facilities in separate rooms. The Supervising Architect states that $2500 will be necessary for this purpose. I recommend an appropriation of $2500 be made from the Reserve and Contingent Fund for additional plumbing in the hospital for these purposes. O n motion of M r s .
