FENCING THE UNIVERSITY WOODS (8) On recommendation of the Supervising Architect I request an appropriation of $5000 from the Reserve and Contingent Fund, to put fencing around a certain portion of the so-called University woods. Trees, it was voted to hold the December meeting at the Blackstone Hotel, in Chicago, at 9:30 a. m . on Saturday, December 13, 1924. APPOINTMENTS MADE BY PRESIDENT KINLEY The Secretary presented for record the following list of appointments made by the President of the University. Albright, Dorothy, Stenographer and Clerk in the Office of the Bursar, for ten months, beginning November 1, 1924, at a salary of seventy-five dollars ($75) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (November 5, 1924)1 Barber, Mildred, Payroll Clerk in the Office of the Bursar, for ten months, beginning November 1, 1924, at a salary of eighty-five dollars ($85) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (November 5, 1924) Braese, O. C , Lecturer in the Department of Business Practice, in the College of Dentistry, for one year, beginning September I, 1924, at a salary of eight and one-third dollars ($8.33) a month. (November 7, 1924) Christy, Grace, Chief Stenographer in the Office of the Dean of the College of Engineering, for ten and one-half months, beginning October 16, 1924, at a salary of one hundred fifteen dollars ($115) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (October 24, 1924) Clinite, Ruth, Stenographer and Clerk in the Office of the Bursar, for ten months, beginning November t, 1924, at a salary of eighty dollars ($80) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. E., Mechanician in the Shop Laboratories in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, for nine months, beginning December 1, 1924, at a salary of one hundred fifty dollars ($150) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission.
