C, Instructor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, beginning January 1, 1924, and continuing until June 30, 1924, at a salary of one hundred seventy dollars ($170) a month. (December 20, 1923) Parker, M . L., Assistant in the Department of Surgery, in the College of Medicine, beginning January 1, 1924, and continuing until September 1, 1924, without salary. (January 8, 1924) Smith, S. C , Accountant in the Auditing Department of the Business Office, for eight months, beginning January 1, 1924, at a salary of one hundred forty dollars ($140) a month. This appointment supersedes his previous one. (December 15, '923) Van Pelt, T. R., Assistant in Medicine, in the College of Medicine, beginning January 2, 1924, and continuing until September 1, 1924, without salary. (January 8, 1924) Wright, Mildred, Stenographer in the department of Physical Education for W o m e n , for eight months, beginning January I, 1924, at a salary of sixty-five dollars ($6$) a month, subject to the rules of the Civil Service Commission. (January 5, 1924) PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO BY-LAWS Mr. Trees gave notice of his intention to submit at the next meeting of the Board an amendment to the By-Laws to provide for standing committees on the Alumni and on Athletics.
